Once you are voted in as a club member, you will receive a copy of these rules through PM as well. Just to make sure you read and understand them. Again, without rules, we would have total chaos. These rules are made by the members, for the members. These rules are subject to change and if you have any grievances, please make them known to either your local Chapter President, or the Club President.

Please keep in mind that these rules are here for our CLUB safety. We, as a club, are trying to convey an image to the public. This is the same public that doesn't like the Sport Compact scene to begin with. We must always be aware of the IMAGE that we are putting forth. Please, as a representative of Autotechniques, put forth your very best!

1) You must have a car to post up for a poll to get voted into Autotechniques.

2) You must post Pics and a Mod list in the Prospect area of the forum for your chance to get voted in by your peers at Autotechniques. Only Club members can vote you in or out.

3) If not voted in the first time, don't give up!! Take the advice of people that are already members and try again at a later date. Persistence weighs heavy on our decisions.

4) If you sell your vehicle, YOU are still a member of Autotechniques. Please remove any and all decals, paint, and other merchandise of Autotechniques before selling. If you get a new vehicle, it is NOT automatically in the club. You must follow the proper channels to get that vehicle voted into Autotechniques.

5) No Drug use will be tolerated AT ALL. What you do in your own house is your business. Once in your vehicle, and in the public representing Autotechniques, if caught using or possessing drugs, you will be terminated from the club and banned from the website.

6) Please use your best judgment as far as alcohol is concerned. Your team members are here for each other. If you need a ride home, I would like to think that you can count on your team members to help out. I don't want to see anyone die, or become injured because of alcohol related accidents. We cannot control what you drink, or how much, so it is up to you to have control. This includes while driving your vehicle, and when you are out and sporting some Autotechniques merchandise. If caught driving under the influence, or are cited for alcohol/driving related incidents, actions within the club will be taken accordingly.

7) Once a member always a member. HOWEVER, if you announce that you are leaving the club on your own, you will be done. If for some reason you realize you didn't want to leave, you may re-post pics and a mod list in the Prospect area and follow the proper channels to get back in. This is only fair to other prospects.

8 ) Street Racing on any public street or roadway is not acceptable. Got beef with a moron trying to race, take it to the track. There is a very distinguishable line between "Play" and "racing." Every time you get a ticket for "racing on a highway," "street racing," "display of horsepower," you are giving the local authorities the right to view our image as "punks," "disrespectful," "trouble makers," and the like. IMAGE people, that is our main concern here. We need to maintain a good image so that we may grow and explore new possibilities within the Sport Compact world. Not only are we trying to help ourselves grow, but we are trying to help our genre grow.
